We greatly value the support of parents, carers and members of the local community who generously give their time to help enrich our children’s learning experiences. Volunteers play an important role in school life, helping us to create a vibrant, supportive and engaging environment where every child can thrive. We believe that by working together, we can provide even greater opportunities for our pupils to learn, grow and succeed.
There are many ways to get involved, whether that is listening to children read, supporting educational visits, helping in the library, preparing resources for lessons, assisting with school events or sharing a particular skill or interest through an extra-curricular club. Whatever your experience or availability, we welcome volunteers who are enthusiastic about making a positive difference to our school community.
Volunteering is a rewarding way to become more involved in school life, gain a deeper understanding of your child’s education and contribute to the success of our pupils. It also helps strengthen the partnership between home and school, which is at the heart of our ethos of “Nurture Grow Flourish”
The safety and wellbeing of our children is always our highest priority. As part of our commitment to safeguarding, all volunteers are required to complete the appropriate safeguarding training and undergo the necessary checks, including an Enhanced DBS check where applicable, before beginning their role in school.
If you are interested in volunteering and would like to find out more about the opportunities available, please contact the school office. We would be delighted to hear from you.
