Our Vision
Our Vision for Pupils
At Woodgate Primary Academy, we believe every child deserves to feel safe, valued and inspired to achieve their very best.
Rooted in a culture of care, belonging and high expectations, we nurture the whole child, recognising and celebrating each individual’s unique strengths, interests and potential. Through rich learning experiences, strong relationships and a commitment to inclusion, we provide the support and challenge every child needs to grow in confidence, character and understanding.
As children progress through our school, we want them to develop the skills, values and resilience to thrive in an ever-changing world. We encourage them to be curious learners, responsible citizens and compassionate members of their community.
Our vision is that every child leaves Woodgate ready for the next stage of their journey, equipped not only with academic success but with the confidence, courage and ambition to flourish in life.
We achieve this through our shared values:

Promoting Fundamental British Values
In accordance with The Department for Education we aim to actively promote British values in schools to ensure young people leave school prepared for life in modern Britain. Pupils are encouraged to regard people of all faiths, races and cultures with respect and tolerance and understand that while different people may hold different views about what is ‘right’ and ‘wrong’, all people living in England are subject to its law.
The Key Values are:
- democracy
- rule of law
- individual liberty
- mutual respect
- tolerance of those of different faiths and beliefs
