The ELSA (Emotional Literacy Support Assistant) programme is an evidence-based nationally recognised approach to support children with a range of emotional needs. Mrs Quy is our accredited ELSA who has attended training with West Sussex Educational Psychology team.

Children can be referred to ELSA by the following:
- Class teacher referral
- SENDco referral
- Parent referral
- Child referral
- Outside agency referral
ELSA interventions should be a short term focus intervention with clear aims. Usually a half term to a full term in length.
